Northern Ireland Target Sports
NITS is the largest handgun club in Northern Ireland, both in terms of membership and range facilities. We are a progressive and dynamic target sports club that welcomes applications for membership from all law-abiding citizens.
No matter what your handgun discipline is, be it competitive or casual shooting, our pistol ranges will accommodate your requirements. Bring your licenced firearms, or ask about trying out some clubs. Most calibres of pistol
ammunition is available for purchase in the range shop.
DISCIPLINES
Many of our members are IPSC and PPC WA1500 Precision Pistol competitors. Each month we provide the following competitions; IPSC Practical Pistol, Timed & Precision (Police Pistol), Multi Target (Service Pistol), PPC Standard Semi-Auto, PPC Standard Revolver 4inch, PPC 1500 Revolver & Pistol and the PPC Distinguished Match, ISSF Standard Pistol, Bench Rifle, Mini Rifle and Gallery Rifle.
CLUBHOUSE
On our ground floor, we have our in-house RFD ‘The Reload Shop” plus an air-conditioned training room. Our membership benefit from the expert training of in-house NRA (USA) qualified instructors and assessors, providing Safety, Range Officer, and the IPSC Black Badge course. On the 1st floor (with lift access) we have Nevins Diner awarded with Five Scores on “The Door” from the local council, each Saturday Nevin’s provides great quality hot food at a reasonable cost to our members and guests; Nevins Diner is open to the public.
CLUB GUNS
We have a great selection of 9mm Club guns available, such as Glock, CZ, Heckler & Koch, Beretta & Mossberg, plus Smith & Wesson / Ruger 38special / 357magnum revolvers and a selection of .22 handguns and rifles. All club guns are free to use. Just pay for ammo and targets.
